Abstract: This paper describes an integrated methodological approach for the evaluation of radon hazard area and the search for the critical zones of radon. It presents a complex radon index of the territory, which take into account a number of fundamental ecological and geological factors; transition from complex radon index in volume activity of radon; calculation of the 99th percentile of radon volumetric activity in the locality, it is necessary to determine the affiliation of the locality to the critical area of radon.
