Abstract: The collaborative mechanism of different social groups has been considered in the article, mutual understanding of their cultures causes capacity for cross-cultural communication and forms social and cultural competence in the process of the Russian language acquisition as a foreign language. The perception problems and folktext decoding problems have been identified, arising difficulties with images and notions and cultural difficulties have been analyzed. The discrepancies in perception and evaluation of the culture-significant folk motifs by the recipients of different psyches have been deduced. It has been noted that storiology helps in the formation of the concepts of values, culture which are the singularity of the Russian people psyche.
