Pages: 169-172 Published: 30.05.2015 Abstract: This article discusses some of the structural and grammatical features of hydronyms of Kostanay region of Kazakhstan. Analysis of the material allowed the author to identify the main structural models of word formation of hydronyms. The conclusion is that hydronyms up tokens with different topographic linguistic identity - Slavonic ~Russian and Turkic ~Kazakh. However, most of them make up a unit Turkic ~Kazakh origin.
