Abstract: The article deals with the analysis of results taken place at the beginning of December, 2015 the International symposium "History of Russian education and pedagogics in search of identity: the experience of traditional and innovative researches". The author allocates the main achievements in development of cooperation between historians of education, notes the high level of all works presented on action.
