Abstract: This article is a study, in comparative terms, of the structure of phraseological expressions of the Russian and Uzbek languages. The study of the structures of phraseological expressions showed that phraseological units are mostly often found in both languages, which are phrases and sentences like: ’’nebo s ovshinku kajetsa’’, ‘’moloko na gubah ne obsohla’’, ‘’ona suti ogzidan ketmagan’’, ‘’brat` primer’’, ‘’ne ryba ne myaso’’, ‘’kak koshka s sobakoy’’,’’tomdan tarasha tushganday’’, etc. The various points of view of famous researchers of the Russian and Uzbek languages were studied.

Key words: phraseological expressions, phraseological units, structural models, postposition and preposition of dependent words, structure of phraseological units, communicative phraseological units.
