Abstract: This article presents the results of the studies carried out to assess the quality and establish the shelf life, as well as the storage conditions of the dry extract of the Samarkand immortelle, which has a choleretic effect. The quality assessment of the research object was carried out in accordance with the requirements of the Pharmacopoeia Monographs of the State Pharmacopoeia XIV and the European Pharmacopoeia, 9th edition. Studies to establish the shelf life of the dry extract were carried out by a long-term method using three types of packaging containers. During the entire period of the experiment, the temperature was maintained at 21 ± 10C. After laying the samples for storage at time intervals equal to 6 months, the qualitative and quantitative indicators of the object of study were determined. According to the results obtained, the analyzed dry extract of the Samarkand immortelle retains the stability of quality indicators for 2-x years in all three types of used packaging.

Key words: Samarkand immortelle (Helichrysum maracandicum Popov ex Kirp.), Dry extract, qualitative and quantitative indicators, microbiological purity, stability, long-term testing, packaging material, flavonoids, isosalipurposide, spectrophotometry.
