Abstract: This article analyzes the current state of investments in Uzbekistan’s energy sector. It examines the structure and dynamics of investments in traditional energy sources (natural gas, oil, coal), as well as the active development of renewable sources (solar, wind, and hydropower). Special attention is given to reforms and projects aimed at attracting foreign direct investment, state support measures, as well as legal frameworks and economic incentives. The paper highlights key challenges and barriers to sector development, including institutional, financial, and technological constraints. It concludes that Uzbekistan's energy sector has high investment potential, provided that diversification continues, infrastructure is modernized, and regional energy cooperation is strengthened.
