Abstract: Using the Comsol Multiphysics software package, the dynamics of pressing a steel shaft into a steel bushing was simulated, ensuring a fit with a guaranteed interference of 0.1 mm. For a thin-walled bushing, a prediction of the intensity of stresses and strains in the material was made.
