Abstract: This article examines international migration as a global phenomenon, drawing on data from important documents that present it: World Bank World Development Report 2023; UN International Migrant Staff Report 2024; ILO Global Assessment Report 2019. The text also includes data on international migration in Bulgaria. The pros and cons are shown for both international migrants from the countries of origin and the host country.
