Abstract: The article deals with the different ways of assessing literary works. The facts that can influence on assessing and changing literary norms are studied by the author. The author also looks through the reconstruction and concretization of literary works referencing to polish literary scholar Roman Ingarden’s researches. The activity of literary and non-literary works realized between the reader and the literary work is characterized in this article as well.
