Abstract: The Kyrgyz Republic is a country with great potential for energy development and one of the most promising areas is the direction of renewable energy sources. This concept is referred to as pure or green energy. The development of the hydropower sector would allow to optimize the country's energy security indicators and become the foundation for a general improvement in the quality of life of the society and the life of the state, and therefore this task also requires due optimization of state policy.
