Abstract: The article considers the ideas and views of al-Farabi about human society, its structure and life activity. The author notes that the problem of the emergence of the world, the issues of the transcendent, conscious and unconscious for a long period of time attracted the central attention of all mankind. But, while the other most important problem that occupied the central place in the scientists' thinking was the question of the person himself, his life activity, as well as the problems of the human community and the issues of human rights and freedoms that stemmed from the above questions.
