Abstract: This paper explores mechanisms for delivering economic education to primary school students through the lens of cooperative pedagogy. As the global economy becomes increasingly complex, equipping young learners with foundational economic concepts is essential for fostering informed future citizens. Cooperative pedagogy emphasizes collaborative learning, where students engage in shared experiences and problem-solving activities. This approach not only enhances understanding of economic principles but also promotes essential skills such as teamwork, communication, and critical thinking. The study identifies several effective mechanisms, including project-based learning, peer teaching, and community involvement, that can be integrated into the primary curriculum. By utilizing real-world scenarios and interactive group activities, educators can create a dynamic learning environment that encourages students to explore economic concepts actively. Additionally, the incorporation of technology and digital resources can further enhance engagement and accessibility. The findings suggest that cooperative pedagogy not only improves students' grasp of economic education but also fosters a sense of responsibility and civic engagement. Ultimately, this approach prepares young learners to navigate the complexities of the economy while developing essential social skills necessary for their future endeavors. The paper concludes with recommendations for educators and policymakers to implement these mechanisms effectively in primary education settings.
