Abstract: Paremiological unit is a set expression, that conveys folk wisdom, experience, and life observations. English paremiological units include proverbs, sayings, and idiomatic expressions that reflect the cultural traditions of English-speaking societies. They have a rich history and hold an important place in the linguistic worldview. English paremiological units related to the thematic group "domestic animals" reflect centuries of human interaction with animals that played a vital role in daily life. These expressions are typically associated with animals such as cats, dogs, horses, sheep, cows, and chickens.
