Abstract: This article is devoted to a comparative analysis of three Uzbek translations of Imam al-Bukhari’s hadith collection "Al-Jami' al-Sahih" that were produced in Uzbekistan during the years of independence. The study examines the features of the transmission of chains of narrators (isnads), the numbering of books, chapters, and hadiths, as well as approaches to the translation and interpretation of hadiths, taking into account differences among Islamic schools of thought (madhabs). The comparative analysis reveals that among the three translations, the "Oltin Silsila" edition most fully and scientifically corresponds to the original Arabic text. The article emphasizes the importance of hadith translations in the formation of the scientific foundations of Islamic studies in Uzbekistan and reflects the evolution of approaches to the interpretation of Islamic heritage.

Key words: Imam al-Bukhari, Al-Jami' al-Sahih, Uzbek hadith translation, Islamic studies, isnad, Oltin Silsila, scientific methodology of hadith studies.
