Abstract: This study addresses the problem of reducing vibration levels in mechanical systems with a finite number of degrees of freedom. Dynamic vibration damping is achieved by attaching a system to the protected object, the reactions of which reduce the vibration amplitude of the object at the points of attachment. The aim of the work is to develop algorithms and a software suite for analyzing the dynamic characteristics of mechanical systems with a finite number of degrees of freedom.

Key words: vibration, protected object, algorithm, modeling, frequency ranges, mass, rigidity.
