Abstract: The article focuses on the reasons for writing and genre features of the didactic work "Mu'in ul-murid" written in verse form, created in the 14th century in Eastern classical literature. A scientific attitude was expressed to the opinions about the author of the work. Also, the genre of wisdom in the works written in the hagiographic direction is defined and its characteristics are revealed [9].
