Abstract: This article analyzes the linguocultural characteristics of French phraseological units and their role in the formation of national worldviews. Specific cultural codes, historical images, and values enshrined in French phraseology are examined. Particular attention is paid to the symbolism and metaphorical nature of set expressions reflecting national stereotypes, social norms, and the peculiarities of the French mentality. The paper also compares French phraseological units with their Russian and Uzbek counterparts, revealing common and distinctive features of their worldviews. The results obtained highlight the importance of phraseological units as a crucial component of the linguistic-cultural worldview.
