Abstract: This study investigates the impact of varying doses of ?-radiation on the homeostasis of digestive enzymes in laboratory rats. Emphasis is placed on key enzymes such as ?-amylase, lipase, and pepsinogen. The experimental model utilizes controlled ?-irradiation (1–6 Gy) and subsequent evaluation of enzyme activity in blood serum over different time intervals (1–60 days). The results indicate that ?-radiation causes a dose-dependent reduction in enzyme activity, with more severe effects observed at higher doses, particularly 6 Gy.

Key words: Enzyme, homeostasis, ?-radiation.
