Abstract: The article presents a theoretical investigation of the symmetric longitudinal vibrations of a three-layered plate. During the modeling process, the plate is considered as a three-dimensional deformable body. The equations of motion are derived based on the main components of displacement occurring along the mid-surface of the plate. The resulting vibration equations were solved numerically using analytical methods, and the mechanical meaning of the solutions was interpreted. Based on the results obtained, significant scientific conclusions were drawn regarding the dynamic properties of the plate.
