Abstract: The article will examine the current health trends, highlight risk factors, and propose a scientifically grounded program for maintaining and improving adolescent healthAdolescence is a pivotal period of life marked by rapid physical, emotional, and social changes. Promoting health in adolescence not only improves immediate well-being but also yields a “triple dividend” of benefits for youth as they become adults and for the next generation health.medicaldialogues.in. In Central Asia, countries like Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan have predominantly young populations; in Uzbekistan, adolescents (ages 10–19) make up over 16% of the population (nearly 5.9 million youth as of 2023)unicef.org, and Kyrgyzstan is similarly youthful with more than half its population under age 25 kyrgyzstan.unfpa.org. Ensuring the health of adolescents aged 15–17 is therefore both a public health priority and a cornerstone for future national development. This introduction outlines the scope of our review: assessing the health status and trends among 15–17-year-old adolescents in Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, and providing a scientific rationale for a tailored health preservation and promotion program. We frame the discussion as a scientific paper, examining existing literature and data on adolescent health indicators – from nutrition and mental health to physical activity, substance use, and sexual and reproductive health – and propose evidence-based strategies to address identified challenges.
