Abstract: Several thousand programming languages have been created for writing software. Some of them are universal, and some are intended for a specific range of tasks. Regardless of this fact, not every programming language can now be used to write full-fledged software, as they become obsolete and become a thing of the past. It is for this reason that this article will consider modern programming languages.
Key words: programming languages, program code, software development, modern programming languages.
