Abstract: This article addresses the pressing issues of protecting personal information in today’s digital landscape. It highlights cyber threats associated with the use of artificial intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT), as well as behavioral factors that contribute to data breaches. The importance of increasing user awareness and implementing multi-layered protection strategies, including data encryption and multi-factor authentication, is emphasized. The article also examines the consequences of cyberattacks and the role of legislation in data protection.
