Abstract: The paper considers an infinitely long circular cylinder, consisting in the general case of a finite number of coaxial viscoelastic layers, surrounded by a deformable medium. The dynamic stress-strain state of a piecewise homogeneous cylindrical layer from a harmonic wave is investigated. Numerical results of stresses depending on the wavelength are obtained.
