Abstract: This work is devoted to the study of Aitmatov studies in Uzbekistan, covering the key stages in the development of the study of Chingiz Aitmatov’s creativity. In the first stage (1960s - 1970s), Uzbek readers became familiar with his works and translated them into Uzbek. In the second stage (1980s), academic interest in his work begins, leading to publications and scientific research. The post-Soviet period (1990s - 2000s) is characterized by an in-depth analysis of Aitmatov’s influence on Uzbek literature and culture. The modern stage (2010s - present) is marked by growing interest in his heritage, international conferences and comparative studies. The work emphasizes the significance of Aitmatov’s work for both Uzbek and world literature, as well as its relevance in modern realities.
