Abstract: This article is devoted to the investigation of current issues of using renewable energy sources in the сurrent economic conditions. In addition, the authors provide a comprehensive analysis of the role of the green energy in the economy, international experience in the use of “green” energy and consider the prospects for its use in the conditions of Uzbekistan.
