Abstract: In an article the research results directed to increase of boll weight by the way of amount boll shutters on the backcross obtaining from crossing an accession «01097»2 with line «Т-817» was given. The location of 3-4-5 boll shutters and their ratio in fruit branches of hybrid plants was determined. This result makes it possible to enhance a base element of productivity is the weight of raw cotton per boll.
