Abstract: The article describes the study of the effect of planting schemes on the accumulation of dry mass of the root system of fine-fiber cotton and their distribution in soil layers. The Marvarid and Guzor varieties received a high index in the dry mass of the roots and the distribution of roots in the soil layers. This condition indicates that these varieties make maximum use of nutrients and water.
