Abstract: This article examines ways to improve the efficiency of economic resource use in entrepreneurial enterprises based on a statistical analysis of small business and regional development indicators in the Republic of Uzbekistan. The research methodology comparative dynamic analysis, sectoral comparison, growth-index calculations and qualitative interpretation of institutional determinants of resource efficiency. The empirical basis includes official data from the National Statistics Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Fergana Regional Statistics Department and regional statistical materials for the provinces of the Fergana Valley for 2021-2025. Using Fergana region as a detailed case, the study identifies strong resource-output potential of small business in industry, construction, services, investment and exports, but also reveals structural constraints related to uneven technological modernization, energy intensity and insufficient depth of production cooperation.
