Abstract: The article examines the peculiarities of the socialization of children with special educational needs in the context of modern society and inclusive education. The key factors of social adaptation, the role of the family, the educational environment, and psychological and pedagogical support are analyzed. Particular attention is paid to methods and technologies that contribute to the successful integration of children into society. Based on the analysis of issues related to the social adaptation of students with special educational needs, the study draws well-grounded conclusions that the effectiveness of educational, corrective-rehabilitative, and medical-preventive work in an inclusive institution largely depends on the coordinated interaction of all members of the multidisciplinary team, including the head of the institution, teachers, doctors, psychologists, speech therapists, social educators, and parents of children with psychophysical developmental features. The study also emphasizes the importance of a comprehensive approach to planning and implementing corrective and developmental activities.

Key words: Socialization, inclusive education, children with special educational needs, social adaptation, pedagogical support.
