Abstract: In this article, the authors examine the role of quality as a tool for promoting a quality philosophy in the production of competitive and in-demand products at light industry enterprises located in the Southern Federal District and North Caucasus Federal District. Furthermore, the authors convincingly confirm the feasibility of such implementation, provided innovative technologies are implemented, including versatile and multifunctional equipment, creating the prerequisites for the production of a full range of footwear, namely men's, women's, and, most importantly, children's footwear, for which demand is quite high in Russia's regions.
