Abstract: Using finite element modeling, characteristic areas of thinning and thickening of a sheet model formed into a box-shaped part were obtained. It was noted that the minimum thinning of the sheet thickness occurs when drawing of DC05 high-quality cold-rolled low-carbon steel, and the maximum thinning occurs when drawing of 5754 deformable aluminum alloy.

Key words: drawing, thinning, thickening, material, modeling.
